Delete your WanderMood account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and personal data for the WanderMood mobile app (Android & iOS).
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
If you can open WanderMood on your phone or tablet:
- Sign in with the account you want to remove.
- Open the More tab (⋯) in the bottom navigation, then open Settings (or your profile / settings area).
- Scroll to the danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE when asked, confirm in the dialog, and wait until the app confirms your account was deleted.
Option 2 — Email request
If you cannot use the app (for example you lost access to your device), email us from the address linked to your WanderMood account:
Use the subject line “Account deletion” and include the email address you used to register. We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request is yours before we delete the account.
What we delete
When you complete in-app deletion, WanderMood removes your login and associated app data, including for example:
- Your profile and preferences
- Saved activities, mood entries, travel plans, and saved places
- Social data tied to you (such as likes, comments, friendships, and diary entries you created)
- Achievements, notification settings, sessions, and other account-related records stored in our backend
What we may keep
We may retain certain information for a limited time where required by law, for security or fraud prevention, or in encrypted backups until they expire. We do not use retained data to market to you after deletion.
